IT was quite a difficult decision about what cameras to take to Africa to visit my soldier daughter and see some wild life. The choice of my Infra – red sensitive camera turned out to be a good one. We were right on the equator at the spring equinox and so the sun was directly overhead , this is a very difficult angle for any photography but it suited the infra red very well as the high sun just caught the tops of the trees instead of illuminating the whole tree as it does in England.
The animals stood out very well against the background as well.
