Yesterday’s farming
Categories: Blog
A glorious weekend of weather for Yesterday’s Farming at Haselbury Plucknett. I hadn’t been for years and was amazed how the show has grown in size. The highlight for me was the collection of working combine harvesters that were set to work on a field of wheat. There were two old bagger combines, that was hard work lifting those monster sacks that may have weighed 100kg. Also a steam ploughing demonstration, wow what a stir that must have caused years ago.
